Lascelles deMercado

Well supported

The Jamaican conglomerate that owned J. Wray & Nephew and, in 1999, launched Magnum Tonic Wine. Its rum business made it the counterweight to Desnoes & Geddes on the bar of a Jamaican dance: where D&G held the beer and stout, Lascelles held the white overproof. Gruppo Campari acquired the company in 2012.
