Interview clip circulation

Well supported

A modern source problem. An artist gives a long interview; a thirty-second cut of it circulates on social media, gets quoted as fact, and the surrounding sentences never travel with it. For an archive the rule has to be to find the full recording and cite that — a clip is evidence of what was clipped, not of what was said.

Interview shows are source material

Dancehall interview shows and podcasts should be treated as source material when full context, episode date and timestamp are preserved.
