Podcast as dancehall archive

Well supported

A great deal of the last decade's first-hand testimony about Jamaican music exists only as podcast and long-form video interviews. It is genuine primary source material and it is fragile: no transcripts, no index, hosted on platforms that can remove it, and searchable only by whoever remembers which episode it was in.

Interview shows are source material

Dancehall interview shows and podcasts should be treated as source material when full context, episode date and timestamp are preserved.
