Unresolved matter exclusion policy
Well supported
The archive does not build a record around an allegation that has not been resolved. An open matter is, by definition, a claim that has not been tested, and a music archive is not the place to give it the permanence of an entry. Where a legal matter is genuinely part of a documented career it is recorded with its date and its disposition, in proportion to the music around it, and where it is not, it stays out.

Rumours are not seed data
One side
Rumour circulation
The other
Public record
Unattributed allegations, social-media claims and active unresolved matters should remain out of seed files unless a vetted court/regulator/major-press source supports a narrow public-record entry.
