Dub Camp Festival
Well supported
Annual open-air festival at Lake Vioreau in Joué-sur-Erdre, near Nantes -- by reputation Europe's first festival dedicated entirely to sound-system culture. Running since 2014 and organised by the Get Up! association, it draws dozens of French and international sound systems over three days each summer and is the flagship event of France's sound-system scene, alongside crews such as Blackboard Jungle, OBF and Heartical Sound.
The 2026 edition was cancelled amid an extreme summer heatwave that also affected other European festivals. The cancelled 2026 edition would have been the eleventh; it was called off two days out by prefectural order under a red heatwave alert, after the department triggered its hospital emergency plan, leaving the organising association with a substantial deficit.
