Peter Tosh and Steel Pulse in Swaziland (1983)
Well supported
On 17-18 December 1983, Peter Tosh played two nights at Somhlolo National Stadium with Steel Pulse opening -- his only performance in Southern Africa. He routed his entourage via London, Germany and Zimbabwe to avoid transiting apartheid South Africa, and ordered the promoter to let in roughly 5,000 fans outside for free.
