Soul Syndicate were one of Jamaica's premier session bands of the 1970s, evolving from a Greenwich Farm group and featuring musicians such as guitarist Earl "Chinna" Smith, bassist George "Fully" Fullwood, drummer Carlton "Santa" Davis and guitarist Tony Chin. They provided backing tracks for many leading producers including Bunny Lee and Niney the Observer, contributing to a large body of roots-reggae recordings.
