The Aggrovators

The Aggrovators were a Jamaican session band assembled by producer Bunny "Striker" Lee in the 1970s, providing the backing rhythms for many of his hit productions and for King Tubby's pioneering dub mixes. Their fluid membership drew on top Kingston players including Sly Dunbar, Robbie Shakespeare, Carlton "Santa" Davis and Tommy McCook, and they helped popularize the "flying cymbals" sound of the mid-1970s.
