Baco Music
Well supported
French label and studio, releasing as Baco Records and Baco Music, whose Baco Sessions strand films visiting artists recording live with French session musicians. Its Johnny Osbourne project ran from filmed studio sessions to the album "Right Right Time" (2023), ten tracks of new material and reworked Osbourne classics cut with the French Connexion Band and co-produced by Guillaume "Stepper" Briard and Maël "Loeiz" Danion, with Easy Star handling the release in the United States.
It is one of the clearest recent cases of a Jamaican veteran being recorded by a French label rather than merely booked by a French promoter.
