Cherry Natural (born Marcia Alrica Wedderburn in St Andrew) has performed dub poetry since 1979 and is regarded as Jamaica's leading female performance dub poet, publishing her debut collection Come Meck We Reason (1989) under the influence of Oku Onuora; she has twice won a JAMI Award and received the Mutabaruka Award for Best Spoken Word Poet at the 2019 IRAWMA.
