Panamanian producer and artist Rodney Clarke, a central figure in the Panamanian reggae en español scene of the 1990s and the man behind "Dame Tu Cosita" -- a record cut in 1997 that sat quietly for two decades before a 2018 animated meme video turned it into one of the most-watched things on the internet. Cutty Ranks says the song is his, in translation, and has been pursuing the credit and the money since.
