Hopeton Overton Brown, who learned at King Tubby's elbow as a teenager and was mixing his own dub sets before he was twenty. His records for Greensleeves — with their comic-book sleeves pitting him against vampires, space invaders and the like — carried dub to a young audience abroad who had never heard of Waterhouse. He has spent much of his later career pressing publicly for the credit and royalties owed to engineers.
