Kisean Anderson, known as Sean Kingston, is a Miami-raised Jamaican-American singer whose 2007 debut single "Beautiful Girls" (built on a "Stand By Me" interpolation) topped the US Billboard Hot 100; he has described himself in interviews as a grandson of Jamaican sound-system pioneer and producer Jack Ruby (Lawrence Lindo).
