Sky Juice
Probable
Dalton "Sky Juice" Bogle, one of the most recognisable selectors in Jamaican sound-system culture and a fixture of Metro Media for decades. He came into the business as a dancer before Gemini Sound's Archibald Cummings spotted him as a selector; he played several sounds before Peter "Metro" Clarke — who backed him when others doubted he could play — made him Metro Media's resident.
Through the 1990s he and Peter Metro drew hardcore dancehall crowds to venues like House of Leo, and his selections and the "belly rolls" that went with them became part of the act. He took the sound around the world across more than thirty-five years of selecting, suffered a stroke and spoke publicly about the recovery and weight loss that followed, and received a Guinness Sound of Greatness award in 2023.
