Recorded in Panama in 1997, released as a single in 2018 and made globally inescapable by an animated meme video and a remix with Pitbull and Karol G on 29 August 2018. It reached No. 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 and its video has passed five billion views. Cutty Ranks says the song originates in his 1991 "The Stopper," that he wrote the original words, and that he has not been properly compensated -- a claim he was still pursuing, with new counsel, as at January 2026.
