Early-1980s dancehall riddim from Henry "Junjo" Lawes's recut of Studio One's "Mad Mad", named for Michigan & Smiley's hit "Diseases" (1981) and carried on by Yellowman's "Zungguzungguguzungguzeng". The rhythm family it opened — Mad Mad, Diseases, Golden Hen — is among dancehall's most versioned and most sampled.
