Jah Love Muzik
Well supported
Jah Love Muzik was the cultural sound of the Twelve Tribes of Israel Rastafari organisation in Kingston, prominent from the late 1970s through the 1980s. Its live sessions joined spiritual reasoning, roots selections and improvising deejays; Brigadier Jerry became its best-known microphone voice and Ilawi/Albert Malawi one of its defining selectors. The sound was revived after Brigadier Jerry returned to Jamaica in the early 1990s.
