Well supported
Tony Myers's sound, based at Minott Terrace off Chisholm Avenue in St Andrew, its name a contraction of "Jamaica's Number One". The yard is as much workshop as base: Jam One's own boxes sit beside boxes built or repaired for other sets, including a Jammy's box parked there for work rather than for a date, and the set plays out with the consoles Myers supplies to the weekly Boom All-Star Clash on Olympic Way.
The federation Myers chairs is run from the same address, and the house sound is what visitors are shown when they come to see how a set is built.
