Migration moves people, and people carry method. What left Kingston for New York was not a record collection, it was a way of running a dance: how you build a rig, how you talk on a mic, how you hold a crowd, how you beat a rival. Everything on this walk comes out of that one transfer and what the city did with it afterwards.
