World Clash global circuit

Well supported

The annual sound clash that made the form international. Run out of New York from the late 1990s, it drew the strongest sounds from Jamaica, Japan, the UK and the United States to one stage under one set of rules, and a win became the credential that mattered. It is the main reason a Japanese or European sound could be taken seriously against a Kingston one.
