Scare Dem Crew
Well supported
Four deejays from Seaview Gardens, Kingston, who joined forces in 1995 as the Seaview Family before taking the name from Bounty Killer's "Big Guns Scare Dem": Boom Dandimite, Elephant Man, Nitty Kutchie and Harry Toddler. Bounty Killer carried them on tour for exposure and Johnny Wonder, who had steered Bounty Killer's own rise, guided the crew. Their debut "Pure Gal" was produced by Steely & Clevie, followed by "Many Many" and the album Scared From The Crypt for VP in 1999. The crew came apart as Elephant Man went solo at the turn of the 2000s and became the biggest name any of them reached. Boom Dandimite died in 2023.
