Gary Exodus

Gary Exodus is a Jamaican sound-system operator, dub engineer and studio owner identified with Exodus Nuclear. His father owned the sound and helped manage Exodus Night Club at Northside Plaza; after that club closed, the family built a mobile sound, then a private voicing room at 14 Dirk Avenue. Demand from artists and other sounds outgrew the house setup, leading through a Mannings Hill Road location to Exodus Studios at 90 1/2 Red Hills Road, which Gary continues to operate. By January 2008 Gary said the studio had spent roughly a decade supplying dubplates to World Clash entrants and sounds in Japan, Germany and the United States; Beenie Man, Vybz Kartel, Cham, Sizzla and Bounty Killer were among the artists reported to have voiced there.
