Scotty

Well supported

Jamaican deejay and singer David Scott (1951-2003), discovered by producer Derrick Harriott, whose "Draw Your Brakes" (1972) featured on The Harder They Come soundtrack. His melodic, half-sung toasting also produced "Skank in Bed" and "Musical Chariot." Remembered as an early bridge between toasting and singing.
