Clarendon Parish

South-central parish, capital May Pen, running from the Bushy Park lowlands to the Mocho Mountains. It carries two things this archive cares about: the Denbigh Showground, where Jamaica's largest agricultural show has been staged since 1953, and Scott's Pass, one of the principal Nyabinghi centres. Toots Hibbert and Freddie McGregor came from the parish.
