The stretch of Fulton Street and the Fulton Mall in Downtown and central Brooklyn that from the 1970s onward concentrated Caribbean and hip-hop record retail — Beat Street, Super Power, Charlie's and others — making it the diaspora counterpart to Kingston's Orange Street.
