Rotterdam Ahoy

Well supported

Rotterdam's large indoor arena, and the Dutch room most associated with Bob Marley and the Wailers: they played it on 7 July 1978 with Steel Pulse supporting, and again on 23 June 1980, sold out both times and the last of the band's Dutch dates. It anchors the Rotterdam end of the Dutch Caribbean music map, in a city whose Antillean and Cape Verdean communities give it a Caribbean calendar of its own.
